To join a caucus, you must be a resident of New Jersey and a member of the Green Party of New Jersey.

Action Committee

The Action Committee coordinates statewide campaigns, actions, tabling, and other activities. If you want to focus on an issue – like healthcare, climate change, peace, poverty – join this committee and prepare to get busy. Email to get more Information on joining the Action Committee.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee recruits and coordinates volunteers, forms local affiliates and helps them grow their membership, plans the annual convention and special conventions, conducts surveys and informal polls of members’ concerns and views, and issues rules on ethics and disciplinary proceedings. Communications Committee

The Communications Committee manages the Green Party of New Jersey internet presence and press contacts. We help get the word out about what Greens all over the state are doing to fight the duopoly.   Click here to get more Information on joining the Communications Committee.

Elections Committee

The Elections Committee helps to find and support Green Party candidates through a statewide coordinated effort. Click Here to get more information on the Elections  Committee.

Policy Committee

The Policy Committee helps to decide official Green Party stances and ethics. This committee also helps to create the Green Party of New Jersey Platform. Click here to join the Policy Committee.

Finance Committee

The finance committee helps to manage donations, plans fun events,  and finds other ways to fund raise for the Green Party without any corporate money. Click here to join the Finance Committee.

Identity Caucuses

GPNJ Caucuses represent traditionally marginalized groups and work on the Green Council to administrate state party business. To join a caucus, you must be a resident of New Jersey and a member of the Green Party of New Jersey.

Lavender Caucus (GPNJ-BC)

The Green Party of New Jersey is working hard to champion the needs of all of us. The Lavender Caucus is the place for Greens who identify as LGBTQIA+ to discuss and push for policies that reflect our unique needs. In addition, we will be taking actions to support our community and bring people together in solidarity, and we will provide an opportunity for you to learn leadership and organizing skills, make new friends, and have some fun. Membership is open to LGBTQIA+ (or questioning) individuals who are registered and/or dues paying Greens in New Jersey (unless ineligible to register due to immigration or legal status, etc.) Click here to join us!

Latinx Caucus (GPNJ-LX)

The primary purpose of GPNJ-LX is to grow the visibility and inclusion of the Latinx communities within the Green Party through community outreach, voter registration and candidate program development, and to serve as the voice of the Latinx communities in the Garden State.  We will also participate in advocacy, networking outside of the party, fundraising, and develop special needs projects to support the values of the GPUS in solidarity with social and environmental justice for all.
