Jill Stein Is Visiting Our March for Environmental Justice!

The March for Environmental Justice will be September 17th, 2016 (10:00am – 1:30pm) in Red Bank, NJ. Click here for the event page!

Together with the Socialist Alternative, the Green Party will be hosting this march to bring awareness to the general public about local environmental and social justice issues affecting all of us, such as the PennEast Pipeline and the NJ minimum wage. Veronica Granite, a new Green Party member and GP Monmouth County Organizer, put the plan for this march in motion on July 26th, 2016. The march has been steadily gaining traction since then, and is now proud to announce that Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein will be visiting and speaking at the march!

Environmental and social justice organizations have been invited to endorse and speak at the march to spread further awareness on various important issues. The march is expecting supporters and activists from around the state to be out calling for change. At the march we will also address how we need to fix our political system to bring the kind of change we need now, both for ourselves and the environment. We want people to learn about how they can get involved politically and with these local organization to make a difference in their communities.

If you are apart of an organization that would like to endorse and potentially speak at the march please contact Veronica Granite.
