Election Resources for Bergen County Greens

Petitions:

Greens must run as Independents in New Jersey. Our ballot motto is "Green Party" for candidates endorsed by the county party (for county or local offices) or the state party (for state or national office). These petitions can be obtained from the county clerk's office - elections division.

The number of signatures that you must obtain can be found here. You should aim for an extra 50% in order for your petition to survive any challenges.
