Local Directions

From Cedar Lane turn south at the Oritani Savings Bank, which is the corner of Larch Ave, and travel three blocks to the corner of North Street and ECS will be on the left.

From Outside of Teaneck

From New York City via the George Washington Bridge:

From the George Washington Bridge, follow the signs for I-95 Local Exits. Take Exit 70B, Teaneck Road/Teaneck. At the end of the ramp turn left at the light and then an almost immediate right onto DeGraw Avenue.
Proceed some distance on DeGraw Avenue; you will eventually traverse a bridge. After crossing, watch for Larch Avenue on the right - it will be the third or fourth street. Turn right on Larch and proceed a little less than a half-mile. The Ethical Culture Society will be on your right at the corner of North Street.

From Western New Jersey via Route 80 East:

Travel Route 80 East, staying in the "Local Exits" lane when 80 merges with I-95 North. Proceed
to the Teaneck/Fort Lee Road Exit. Stay in the right lane. Go to the second turnoff, Exit 70B,
Teaneck Road/Teaneck. This will put you on DeGraw Avenue.
Follow the directions in the second paragraph under "From New York City via the George Washington Bridge"

From New York City via the Lincoln Tunnel:

Route 3 West and take the New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 18W. Pay toll and follow signs for
I-95 North, George Washington Bridge. Take exit 70 to the right to Exit 70B (Teaneck Road,
Teaneck).
Follow the directions in the second paragraph under "From New York City via the George Washington Bridge"


From Southern New Jersey:

Travel North on the New Jersey Turnpike until it ends at Exit 18. Pay toll, and follow signs for
I-95 North, George Washington Bridge. Get off at Exit 70 and take Exit 70B (towards Teaneck NOT Leonia).

From Northern New Jersey:

Travel the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 163 -Paramus and Route 17 (exit on the left). Take
Route 17 South to the Route 4 East - New York - exit. Travel Route 4 East approximately four
miles to the River Road / Teaneck exit. At the bottom of the ramp turn right and proceed on River
Road. At the first light, make a left onto Cedar Lane.
Then follow the "Local Directions."

From Garden State Parkway North:

On the Garden State Parkway Northbound take Exit 159 - Route 80 East. Travel Route 80 East to the
Teaneck/Fort Lee Road Exit. Stay in the right lane. Go to the second turnoff, Exit 70B, Teaneck
Road/Teaneck.
Follow the directions in the second paragraph under "From New York City via the George Washington Bridge"

or

An alternate route from the Garden State Parkway Northbound would be to take Exit 161 -
Paramus-Route 4 East. Travel Route 4 East approximately four miles to the River Road / Teaneck
exit. At the bottom of the ramp turn right and proceed on River Road. At the first light, make a
left onto Cedar Lane.
Then follow the "Local Directions."
